UPDATED – Notice of Public Hearing – Local Law No. 2 of the Year 2021 – March 18, 2021

PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a Public Hearing will be held by the Board of Trustees of the Inc. Village of Island Park, Nassau County, New York, at 6:45 P.M. on Thursday, March 18, 2021, at the Island Park Village Hall, 127 Long Beach Road, Island Park, New York, to consider the adoption of:

Local Law No. 2 of the Year 2021, entitled Transit Oriented Development Overlay District.

The purpose of this proposed Local Law is to create an overlay district for the purpose of allowing mixed-use and multi-family development by approval of the Board of Trustees.

TAKE FURTHER NOTICE that the complete text of said proposed Local Law is on file with the Village Clerk and may be examined by any interested person during regular office hours.

THE PUBLIC HEARING WILL BE CLOSED TO THE PUBLIC. *

The Public can submit questions and participate in the Public Hearing by contacting the staff at Village Hall or and information will be provided for either teleconference or phone access.

Public participation and questions shall be heard and appended to the record.

Members of the Board of Trustees will participate in the Public Hearing by teleconference.
