Mayor Michael McGinty and the Village Board are deeply saddened to learn of the passing of the 46th Vice President of the United States, Dick Cheney. Vice President Cheney was a true American patriot who dedicated his life to the service of our nation.

All Village-maintained flags will be lowered to half-staff in his honor. The entire Island Park community joins Americans across our great nation in offering prayers for the Cheney family during this difficult time.
