Village Staff Member Tests Positive for COVID-19

It has come to my attention that one of our staff members has tested positive for COVID-19. I have been in contact with both the Nassau County and New York State Health Departments. They have advised, as part of their procedure that all staff work remotely for a 14 day period. After such time each staff member will be required to test negative for COVID-19 before returning to work. Village Hall staff will be working remotely during this period and phone messages will be answered expeditiously. We are also available via Facebook or Village email. The quarantine which is now being imposed for Village Hall staff will ensure both their safety and the safety of all our residents.
