Notice of Rescheduled Public Hearing (Local Law No. 3 ) – April 19, 2021

TAKE NOTICE THAT THE PUBLIC HEARING SCHEDULED FOR Thursday, April 15, 2021 at 6:45 P.M. has been rescheduled and will be held at 6:45 P.M. on Monday, April 19, 2021 at the Island Park Village Hall, 127 Long Beach Road, Island Park, New York as per the Board of Trustees of the Inc. Village of Island Park. The Public Hearing will be held by the Board of Trustees to consider the adoption of:

Local Law No. 3 of the Year 2021, entitled Tax Levy Limit Override.

The purpose of this Proposed Local Law is to provide the 2020/2021 real Property Taxation may exceed the tax levy limit set forth in General Municipal Law §3-c.

TAKE FURTHER NOTICE that the complete text of said proposed Local Law is on file with the Village Clerk and may be examined by any interested person during regular office hours.

THE PUBLIC HEARING WILL BE CLOSED TO THE PUBLIC. *

The Public can submit questions and participate in the Public Hearing by contacting the staff at Village Hall or and information will be provided for either teleconference or phone access.

Public participation and questions shall be heard and appended to the record.

Members of the Board of Trustees will participate in the Public Hearing by teleconference.
