UPDATED – Notice of Public Hearing on Tentative Budget – April 26, 2021
April 6, 2021PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a Public Hearing will be held by the Board of Trustees of the Inc. Village of Island Park, Nassau County, New York at the Village Hall, 127 Long Beach Road, Island Park, New York on Monday, April 26, 2021 at 6:45 P.M. to consider the Tentative Budget for Fiscal Year June 1, 2021 to May 31, 2022. The Tentative Budget also includes a Local Government Exemption Impact Report of exempt amounts of real property.
THE BUDGET HEARING AND THE SPECIAL BOARD MEETING IMMEDIATELY FOLLOWING WILL BE CLOSED TO THE PUBLIC. *
The Public can submit questions and participate in the Public Hearing and Special Board Meeting by contacting the staff at Village Hall or and information will be provided for either teleconference or phone access.

A copy of the Tentative Budget and the Exemption Impact Report are available for public inspection at the Office of the Village Clerk, Island Park, New York, during normal office hours.
The annual compensation proposed to be paid to each member of the Board is as follows:
Mayor $25,000
Trustees (4) $15,000
All interested persons will be given an opportunity to present oral and/or written comments on the 2021/2022 Tentative Budget during the Public Hearing at the time aforesaid.
Public participation and questions shall be heard and appended to the record.
Members of the Board of Trustees will participate in the Public Hearing and Special Board Meeting immediately following by teleconference.
