Important Public Notice: Mount Sinai South Nassau Emergency Room Entrance Temporarily Relocated To Oceanside Rd.

Beginning Monday, November 25, the main entrance to Mount Sinai South Nassau Emergency Department (ED) on Nassau Pkwy. will be relocated to Oceanside Road during a four-month period of construction.

The road to the current entrance on Nassau Parkway will be closed to ambulances and self-transported patients.

All Emergency Room vehicular traffic will be directed to the new temporary entrance located on the east side of Oceanside Rd. south of Oswald Ct. and north of Nassau Pkwy. Electronic and other signage directing traffic to the new Emergency Room entrance will be placed along Oceanside Rd. and Nassau Pkwy. Ambulances and self-transported patient traffic will return to using the Nassau Pkwy. Emergency Room entrance in the spring of 2020, once site improvements and enhancements for it have been completed. In an emergency, remember to call 9-1-1.
