Important Information from Mayor McGinty for Election Day and Veteran’s Day

IMPORTANT MESSAGE FROM MAYOR McGINTY:

Next week Tuesday, 11/7 Election Day and Friday, 11/10 Veterans Day (observed), Village Hall and the Department of Public Works will be closed. There will be no sanitation collection for the Village of Island Park on those two dates only.

Residents in District 2 who have their pick up normally Tuesdays and Fridays will instead be picked up on Wednesday, 11/8. This will be the only collection for District 2 that week.

District 2 who normally has recycling on Friday, we ask that you please hold your recycling for the following week and it will be picked up as normal on Friday 11/17.

Please note; this will only affect the schedule for next week because of the two closures and residents in District 1 remain unaffected.
