Booting of Vehicles With Outstanding Parking Violations Begins February 1

Please be advised that the Inc. Village of Island Park will begin enforcement on vehicles with outstanding parking violations in the Village. The enforcement will include immobilization or “booting” of vehicles with unpaid violations; as well as the towing of those vehicles as described below.

The enforcement on vehicles with outstanding violations will begin FEBRUARY 1, 2023.

Patrons with a minimum of $300 in unpaid violations in the Inc. Village of Island Park will have their vehicle immobilized (“booted”) and potentially towed (after 2 business days after immobilization) if the immobilization device is not removed (through payment of the outstanding fines).

In the event your vehicle is immobilized, to have your vehicle released, payment must be made online at www.bootvision.com/pay. Select “Island Park” as your location, enter your plate number without dashes and select the state in which your vehicle is registered.

Once your payment is received and processed, a text message with a code to release the boot will be sent to the telephone number entered at the time of payment. Boots should be dropped off as directed within 48 hours of release to avoid late fees. Stolen and damaged boots are subject to additional fees.

Should you wish to settle outstanding violations prior to the commencement of the booting program, please contact the Island Park Village Court immediately at (516) 431-0600.

Very Truly Yours,

Claudia Armendinger
Village Clerk
