The Long Island Rail Road (LIRR) strives to be a good neighbor by keeping you informed of improvements that promote safety and reliability. The LIRR Signal Department will be preforming construction work on the Grade Crossing Hut located on Long Beach Road, Island Park.

  • The LIRR will perform construction at the Grade Crossing Hut located on Long Beach Road, in Island Park on May 31- June 1, 2019
  • Work will take place on between 11:00 PM Friday until 1:00 PM Saturday
  • While the work is in progress, MTA Police will assist/direct vehicular/pedestrian traffic.

While the work is in progress, the LIRR and MTA Police will be on site to facilitate safe traffic control.
