Public Comment Period Open for the Next Regional Transportation Plan

From the New York Metropolitan Transportation Council (NYMTC) –

The New York Metropolitan Transportation Council (NYMTC) respectfully requests that your office share the attached information with your constituents regarding the programs/projects planned for the next Regional Transportation Plan (RTP), Moving Forward 2055 and the 2025 Congestion Management Process (CMP) Status Report. These two transportation actions documents, which are produced every four years, provide a framework for transportation planning within our region and are now open for public comment.

During the comment period which ends July 30, your constituents will have access to draft Moving Forward 2055 materials, videos, and feedback tools at movingforward2055.org, and can review the CMP report at nymtc.org. Additionally, two Virtual Public Review Meetings will be held on July 15 at 3:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. where attendees will learn more about these products and can provide their feedback.

Thank you for helping us ensure communities across the region have a voice in building a better transportation future.
