On May 8th, Mayor Michael McGinty was deeply honored and humbled to be recognized as an honoree at the Hispanic Brotherhood Scholarship Dinner. The event celebrated his unwavering dedication and commitment to the Hispanic Brotherhood and the Latino community in Island Park.

Mayor McGinty expressed his gratitude for this recognition and reaffirmed his steadfast support of the Latino community in Island Park.

He was joined by other partners in government, including Town Clerk Kate Murray and fellow honorees The evening highlighted the incredible work of the Hispanic Brotherhood, led by Executive Director Marguerite Grasing, whose boots-on-the-ground approach continues to make a meaningful impact in our community.

The Hispanic Brotherhood is a truly special organization, and we are fortunate to benefit from the important work they do. We are also deeply grateful for their recognition of both Mayor McGinty and the Village of Island Park.
